We Repair Fast

Draft for the owner and a local attorney. Do not treat this as finished legal advice.

Repair terms

Quote before work

This is a draft for the shop owner and a local attorney to review before launch. The legal name, address, and state still need to be filled in.

Diagnostics of the obvious fault are free. If we need to take the device apart to find the fault, we will tell you about any diagnostic fee before we do that, and we will apply that fee to the repair if you approve it.

We do not start a paid repair until you approve the price. You can decline and take the device back. If we already opened it for a paid diagnostic, the diagnostic fee still applies.

Parts and data

We use quality parts. Some parts are from the original manufacturer and some are equivalent aftermarket parts. We will tell you which you are approving when it changes the price.

Repairs can involve heat, opening the device, and replacing parts that store data. Back up your device before you hand it over. We are not liable for data loss except where the law does not allow that limit. Data recovery is a best effort and is not a promise that any particular file will be saved.

Remove activation locks or bring the account password when we tell you it is required. We cannot finish some repairs without it.

Warranty

Most completed repairs include a one-year limited warranty on the part we installed and the labor for that repair. The warranty does not cover a different fault, new physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, or work done by someone else after we return the device.

Liquid-damage treatment and data recovery are not warranted unless we say so in writing on your ticket. Batteries are covered for failure of the battery we installed, not for normal wear after the year.

Unclaimed devices

Pick up your device within 30 days after we tell you it is ready, unless a longer period is required by state law. We will contact you at the phone number and email you gave us. After that period, the device may be treated as unclaimed and disposed of or sold to cover unpaid charges, as state law allows.

The 30-day period is a draft. The owner must confirm it against state abandoned-property rules before launch.

Limits

Except where the law forbids a limit, the shop's liability for a repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair, or another attempt to repair the same fault. We are not liable for lost business, lost data, or the cost of a replacement device beyond that amount.
